Iva May's Room

As soon as we found out it was another sweet girl, it was time to plan another nursery!  

We turned the old office into a pink and kelly green wonderland...

Her two namesakes, which will be her Great, Great Aunt Iva Minner and Great Grandmother, Florence May Simpson.

My Great Iva was my grandma, Myra's, sister - so they will be sister's again!

Myra is my mother's mom and Grandmother, Florence, is Grammy's mom.  We absolutely love family names - and this is another great one!

 The re-purposed changing table where I painted the doors green and gave it some new pulls.  We bought a new dresser, but painted the pulls green on that one to girly it up a bit.  I also added some green ribbon to the white table lamp - and you can also see Myra's canvas painting for her sister!

 Papa made the beautiful green and pink blanket...and that's, of course, Myra's rocking chair from her room.  I thought she would really miss it, but she really hasn't since she has a gorgeous princess bed now!
