New View

At almost 18 months, Myra now gets to face forward in the car!

We are able to turn around and see her sweet little face! Here she is making a fish noise with her cute, sweet little mouth - she still cracks us up every day.

Big People Chair

Daddy decided to let the little one sit on a big people chair. She looks so little, but so very cute - and she loved it!

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day 2012!!

I made special valentines for our family - and Daddy got a special one as well!

We were also told that her school was having a party and we could bring valentine's, if wanted. So...I placed these cute labels on the front of granola bars! Very fun - and even Grogan helped! (Btw...Michael and Killian are two of her very favorite friends - that just happen to be boys!)

A little Valentine's Day comparison...What a difference one year makes!! At least she is still wearing the same leg warmers in each picture!

My Valentine 2011! My Valentine 2012!

Zionsville Secret Play Area

We were told a very special secret about a FREE play area for kids to run wild. It was great - and Myra had a good time, although she will be able to do more things when she is older.

She stayed very busy with climbing, crawling, running, and playing ball!

Such a little girl in a big place!

HUGE Snowman!

The Schroeder family got a ton of snow last weekend - and made the best of it by building this enourmous snowman!

It's just so tall! I can't believe it!

The Not-So-Great NFL Experience

Since the Super Bowl is in Indianapolis this year, we thought we would go downtown to check out the festivities. We did some homework beforehand and found the best park and ride - and believe me, when I say the park and ride was the BEST part of the experience. It went very smoothly and was not very busy, but when we got to the convention center, it was EXTREME chaos. There were just sooo many people there. You really couldn't move -especially with a stroller. If you wanted to play any of the games, you had to wait in line to sign a waiver and then had to wait for over an hour to play! And - that's about all there was....a few games and few pic opportunities.

We stepped outside for a bit, but there really wasn't much out there either - except for the zip line - and that was sold out. So...we left after about an hour.

Here's Myra on her first public transportation ride:

Oh Special K! We miss you!

A pic from the outside (Super Bowl Village) - up above us was the zip line from the convention center to Lucas Oil stadium.

Oh well, we tried. At least we can say we were part of the Super Bowl experience!

Costco Helper

A fun weekend trip to Costco where Myra had to 'help' us with everthing in the cart! And...then after all of the samples, had to have a snack of Cheerios while waiting to check out.
