Since the Super Bowl is in Indianapolis this year, we thought we would go downtown to check out the festivities. We did some homework beforehand and found the best park and ride - and believe me, when I say the park and ride was the BEST part of the experience. It went very smoothly and was not very busy, but when we got to the convention center, it was EXTREME chaos. There were just sooo many people there. You really couldn't move -especially with a stroller. If you wanted to play any of the games, you had to wait in line to sign a waiver and then had to wait for over an hour to play! And - that's about all there was....a few games and few pic opportunities.
We stepped outside for a bit, but there really wasn't much out there either - except for the zip line - and that was sold out. So...we left after about an hour.
Here's Myra on her first public transportation ride:

Oh Special K! We miss you!

A pic from the outside (Super Bowl Village) - up above us was the zip line from the convention center to Lucas Oil stadium.

Oh well, we tried. At least we can say we were part of the Super Bowl experience!
