Flowing Well Park

I had driven past this park many, many times - and it's just one of those things where I kept saying to myself that I needed to stop by one day.

I did a little research online to see what it offered and I had no idea it offered so much fun - just 20 minutes from our house!

It's an artesian well where people from all over come to fill up their jugs and jugs of water.  We only brought a sippy and a big water bottle for me though, but we will probably be back with more.  It tastes really good  - and feels good that it's straight from the earth!

Then..it was off on the trail and little did we know that there was a cool creek where kids could splash and play in nature.

 Look at those beautiful curls!  Wish they would come out more often, but they arrived due to super high humidity and, of course, the water play.

 Then..we had a beautiful picnic lunch together.  Loved every minute of it!
