A Potty Story

So...we've started potty training.  It's a slow process, but we will get there!  Here's a funny from the journey..

Last night on the potty before bed, Myra went potty right away – and got a present.  It was a book that she wanted to read right away, so we did.

Then…she told me she wasn’t finished going potty and asked if she could get another present, if she went.  Thinking that she was done as she’s not stopped and started again previously, I told her, ‘Yes, you can have another present if you go in the potty.’

Well…she went again – and got a second present b/c I am a mom of my word.

So, then she took a bath.

After bath, she told me she still wasn’t done going potty and needed another present, if she went.  I thought surely she didn’t have any more in that little body – BUT she did!  So…a third present was opened!

Lesson Learned….only one present per potty session!   And…we will soon have to convert to maybe some money or very small editable treats as I know the journey isn’t short.
