Little Red Riding Hood

If you can believe it, this Little Red Riding Hood outfit is over 60 years old!

Myra's Grammy and Auntie Pam both wore it when they were 1 and 2 years old - and now it has been passed down to our little one. Their great-grandmother (Myra's great-great-great grandmother) made it for them and purchased the cape. She worked for years in the fabric department of Gimball's Department Store, so we're sure that's where the fabric for the outfit was purchased. It is in wonderful shape and - of course - Myra looks pretty cute in it.

We aren't sure if she will fit into it next year, so we decided to take some professional pics of her in it. Well...Myra doesn't do well with professional pictures - BUT we did get a good shot of her (minus the cape) - and it will be our Christmas picture this year. Even though, there was a melt down and the session lasted maybe 10 minutes, I considered it a success because we got the one good shot!

Since we didn't get a good pic of the cape, we decided to try to take more pics her when we got home. These were all we could get of the busy little one:

She kind of looks like a mini super hero here:
