Happy 38th Birthday, Daddy!

Saw this and knew Myra would love to celebrate Daddy's birthday in this Rolling Stones shirt - ha!

There was, of course, a scavenger hunt that Daddy usually despises, but he always has a helper!

Making Daddy's Famous Birthday Cake

Of course, the reindeer had to help make Daddy's famous chocolate eclair birthday cake!
She did so well this year!

 Always my little taste tester!

MUST decorate the outside trees, too!
And...the reindeer MUST eat dinner with us, too!
 And go for sleigh rides...
 Love, love, love!

Since we pretty let her decorate the tree all by herself, there were a few overlapping ornaments - but she had a blast this year.  It makes the craziness of the season all worth it!

Back in Mid-December...

we confirmed Myra was going to be a Big Sister!

Since I am writing about this 6 months later, I can say that the first initial news of this didn't sit very well with Myra.  She didn't really want to talk it and would ignore us each time we mentioned it, but she has since seen my belly grow and realize it's inevitable.  And...I think...she's pretty excited now!

Chocolate Advent Calendar

Auntie Pam sent the annual chocolate Advent Calendar this year - and this girl loved every single day of it!

Who doesn't need...

a purple Christmas tree???

This was perfect for Myra's room this year - and she LOVED decorating it all by herself!

Myra's Christmas List

I was actually in the midst of a store list when Myra started mentioning all of the things she wanted for Christmas.  So...I took the opportunity to write them all down (word for word) and Myra enjoyed seeing her lists all spelled out for Santa.
