We have walked many times at Cool Creek Park, but never ventured into their nature center until this past weekend.  It was soooo great for a little one!  There were many turtles, snakes, bird and squirrel watching with fun binoculars.

Then...there's a fun small trail where Myra picked up a few rocks for her collection!

Best of all....it's free!

Lookin Old!

She looks so old with her new backpack!

Still a Floor Sleeper

She still doesn't sleep in her bed and now likes to sleep on the floor most nights instead of on her corner pillow.

This night, she slept with her backpack!  And...this is how we found her in the morning!

She even sleeps on the floor at school!  This pic is a little upside-down, but you can see her sleeping beside her cot - silly girl!

Our Little Painter

Ever since she painted her pumpkin, she's been asking to do more painting.  So...even though it's a huge mess and she gets a bath immediately afterwards, it's worth it!  She enjoys it so much and paints for a good hour at a time!

M Sweater

Myra spent the night at Papa's this past weekend while Jeff and I went to a charity event.

She had a great time and came home with this fun 'M' sweater!

She's really into hide and seek...so we had a fun game before heading home on Saturday morning.

Mommy's Necklace

One of Myra's favorite things these days is to ask us if we 'want a bracelet or necklace.'  She then heads upstairs to our room and starts digging through my jewelry drawer and always come back with something of mommy's.

She particularly likes this blue chain necklace...

First Christmas Festival

Hamilton Towne Center started Christmas very early this year!  They had a fun festival to get you out and shopping last weekend.  Myra had a GREAT time!

 She was fairly hesitant with the lion, but loved dancing with him and loved staring him down....

 A yummy cookie to start the holiday season....

 And...she would roar at the lion!  Hilarious!

Gourds

Again...She always has to take something with her on our walks.  This time it was her gourds she purchased at the pumpkin patch!

First Trick or Treat

Myra was a bear this year - but this is not just an ordinary bear costume!  It's a costume that my brother and I wore when we were two.  This thing is like almost 40 years old and looks super cute on Myra!

This was Myra's first real trick or treat experience.  We started out at Papa and Jay's and got some extra goodies while inside.

Then...we were off with Ga Schro to go house to house.  We only visited about 5, but Myra soon became a pro!

Up to each house she would go - and grab some candy.  She would say, 'thank you,', but no 'trick or treat' just yet!

 After we finished, she had a great time handing out candy at home!

At the end of the night, it was pizza time with Daddy!
