August Grammy Visit

Grammy also visited us in early August!  Myra received her early birthday picnic table and enjoyed some Grammy reading!

Mommy's Jewelry

She found my jewelry and wanted more and more of it - and, of course, had to put all of it on at one time!

Mmmm....Bananas

Most mornings, you will find Myra sitting on the counter 'helping' me do something.  And...most mornings, she wants something to eat - and many mornings, it's bananas.  Look at the cute banana-filled cheeks!! 

Bed head Reader

With Myra's new found freedom as she still sleeps in the corner of her room, we find her 'reading' many mornings.  Look at the sweet bed head surrounded by her books!

She's taken to wanting our limes from our margaritas - and no, she doesn't get any part of our fun drink!

Papa Daycare

A couple of weeks ago, we had a sickly little girl...so, she spent a couple of days at Papa Daycare.

She didn't want to nap in the room, so she napped in the hallway - makes total sense!

 When you are mending, all you need are some cracker sticks and Wonder Pets!

Mommy and Mymy Weekend

While Daddy was out of town a few weekends ago, we had a Mommy and Mymy weekend, which was full of trail walking, walking the baby, feeling nature and hop hunting!

More Laundry Helping

She's always liked 'helping' with laundry, but as she gets older...the more fun she has!

 She was playing Row Row Row Your Boat with the basket!

 Scooted the basket into the living room for folding...

 Always involves trying on something...at least this time, it was her own pajamas!

Dig IN

Jeff and I had the pleasure of getting out one Saturday a few weeks ago for the Dig IN event, where about 50 local vendors share their goods.

It went very fast and was really hot, but we had a great time and sampled a lot of great (and weird) food.

 Quick shot of downtown Indy...I forget how fun and cool it is!

Yes...we ate beef tongue and cheek!  It was delicious!

We had so many different foods, but this one hit the spot that day...a very gourmet blueberry and ginger popsicle!
