Outdoor Picnic!

And...the picnic table made it outside.  This was our first real outdoor picnic!

Happy Birthday Grammy!!!!

We made a special sign for Grammy's birthday - and, of course, Myra had to color it!  

We tried to just have her hold it, but got this....

 Then...the coloring began!

Indoor Picnic

Myra received this wonderful picnic table as an early birthday present from Grammy.  It lived in our foyer for about a week  - and Myra enjoyed a few indoor picnics!

Our Saturday...

Started out with a morning walk - of course, cheetah baby had to go as well...

Rocks were examined....

 Off to a new park after nap.  This big swing was a BIG hit!  She didn't want to leave it!

 The park had a HUGE sand box, but she only played in it for just a bit because she found the big swing!

Then it was off to our tiny little vacation spot in Noblesville, Wolfies, which is right on Morse Lake.

My Morning Helper...

Myra is VERY interested in 'helping me' get ready in the mornings.  I can't believe that she's already interested in make-up - and she's not even 2 - yikes!!!

Myra loves to 'cheers' with almost anything - not just her drink!  I caught it in action as Grammy and she were doing 'cheers' with cheddar bunnies.

Another NIght Out!

With Grammy in town, we got a chance to go out again!  Two weeks in a row is unheard of these days, but it was wonderful.   Jeff got free tickets to the Train concert, so we headed downtown and then came back to Noblesville for some drinks with good friends.

Sweetest Helper Ever!

.  Myra continues to be a GREAT little helper around the house.  I am hoping this continues for a very long time.  Emptying the dishwasher is one of her favorites!

I just had to take a shot of this....  For the items that go in the pantry, I will hand them to her from the dishwasher and say,. "Please put this in the pantry."  I never know where she actually puts them until I go in there later.  I was so surprised to see this very organized pile of dishes.  I was impressed!

Farmer's Market With Grammy

Grammy was in town this past weekend  - so Myra enjoyed a couple of days of Grammy daycare - and lots of reading,

snuggles and kisses!

And...we all enjoyed the Carmel Farmer's Market as well.  We all enjoyed a yummy pretzel...

 And - walking and walking and walking around the busy vendors....

It was a little hot, but we all picked up some tasty goodies.

My Little Corner Sleeper

 It's official...Myra is a corner floor sleeper!

About two weeks ago, she decided she did NOT want to sleep in her crib anymore.  Despite many attempts to keep her in her crib, she constantly found a way to get out - even with the mattress all the way to the floor.

 So...much to my dismay, we decided to take off the front of her crib and put on the toddler bed rail.  With her new found freedom, she still didn't want to sleep in her Big Girl Bed.  She insists on the sleeping in the corner on the floor, which - actually - has worked out pretty well.  She has been napping and sleeping great right there! She doesn't try to escape from her room and seems to really like it!   I guess it's just a phase, but  - at this point - I think it's kind of weirdly cute.

Taking Special Care of Teddy

Oh Teddy!  You are one special little character to our Myra.  You get so much love and attention every single day - and special band aids and turkey bacon to eat!  

 Myra felt you needed to dive right in and take a bath in the turkey bacon!

Oh - special / smelly teddy!  You  really could use a good cleaning!

Sous Chef

 Sunday dinner was made special by the help from sous chef, Myra.  We had fresh veggies from the Noblesville Farmer's Market and away we went...

A Date Night

 We actually had a real date night last Saturday night - complete with a movie, drinks and dinner!

Jeff enjoyed his favorite racing game before the movie....

Drinks at a newer bar called the Libertine - and we also stopped by another new bar called, Ball and Biscuit.

It really was a great night to get out and enjoy some much-needed time away from the house!
