Time to find a new spot for....

...the gobs and gobs of artwork that was stored in bins on the floor of our pantry!

She has drug them out on several occasions, but never all of them once - multiple times! It's time to put them a bit higher.

Christmas Day 2011

We Skyped bright and early with Grammy Christmas morning while Myra opened her gifts - played w/ them - and also opened her stocking full of goodies from Grammy!

Took a Cheerio break... (Thanks for the fun Cheerio holder, Grammy!)

Her cuteness in front of the tree in her beautiful Christmas dress, which was given to her by Auntie Pam.

Then..it was time for a yummy dinner of slow-roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing, green bean casserole, biscuits - and the best of all...Swedish pastry!

Here's the fun table setting. Grampa and Jay headed over for the feast!

Good times were had by all this year!

Christmas Eve 2011

Christmas Eve was abelskiver and sausage (an Anderson / Jorgensen family tradition). Myra loved watching Grampa make them!!

She loved finding the owls on the tree!

After dinner was the present opening fun!

It was an Ikea Christmas - complete with doll and stool - and much more!

She had tons of fun - just with the stool! Oh the simple things always make the best gifts!!

Present Finder

We didn't place any presents under the tree this year for two reasons...1. We wanted Myra to be surprised on Christmas morning and 2. (Most Important) The cat eats the ribbons.

But...Christmas Eve day game around and Jeff finally opened the box from Grandma (Ga Schro) and placed the presents underneath the tree. I put them in the very back, but she still found them!

She hasn't paid much attention to the tree this year, - except when looking for the cat - so I didn't think she would find them...but she did!

Quick Christmas Comparison

Christmas 2010 and then.......... Christmas 2011:

Playin' with all of her goodies...

Myra was a very fortunate girl this year. We are so THANKFUL for such wonderful family!

Here are some snapshots of her playing with all of her loot.

She got a very cute handmade backpack from Grampa and Jay. It carries many things, but mainly Clippity these days!

Santa bought her this foldable slide set. Of course, this climbing beauty LOVES it. She goes up and down - from all sides - and plays great hoops already. And...she loves to put her animals and dolls down the slide too!

She got a few baby dolls and loves taking good care of them. She somehow already knows how to flip them over, put blankets on them, hug them and pat them to sleep!

Look at the face! I think it says it all....She is one sweet and lucky girl!

Fun with Christmas Package

Oh what fun it is to get a Christmas package and use it as a stepping stool onto the couch as well as a tool to help heave the stroller on the couch too!

Busy with Blocks

It amazes me to see how far she has come in her stacking skills. She used to only tear down my block sculptures and break blocks apart, but now she loves to build and stack and stack and stack!
