Unfortunately, our living room setup is not very conducive to an exploring curious baby. So, I had to find a solution to prevent her little hands from messing with all of the electronics - and I found these great plastic cover barriers. They work great!

Waving skills - Off the charts!

Myra is a waving machine these days. Even at the doctor's office this past week, her doctor commented on her 'excellent waving skills!'

Another bunny has arrived...

Just after my post about the abundance of stuffed bunnies in this house, another one arrived from Grandma Linda!

True Mixture

My mom sent a pic of me at 7 months old. Wow - I was a chunk! I don't think I had a neck!

Ever since Myra was a newborn, she's been a true mixture of Jeff and I. It's true that she has dark hair and dark eye brows similar to me, but not the very dark brown hair I have had since I was born - and my hair was never light. On the other hand, Jeff didn't have much hair at all until he was almost one - and it has always been fairly blonde. Myra still has blue eyes also. Jeff's are more hazel, but mine have always been brown.

She's just a super cute and sweet mix!

We know you had a wonderful day! Myra wore a very special 'Jamaica' dress just for the occasion - of course! She's waving Jamie into the family - although you already were a very special part of it already! Yeah - for another Mrs. Sealey!

The Best Teether!

I have found the best teether. I can't take credit for it as Myra first fell in love with them at school - and they told me how much she loved them, so I had to get a couple for home. You just pop them in the freezer and she's off to chewing and playing with it for a while. She never was a pacifier kind of girl, so I wasn't sure why she liked these so much. She doesn't use them as a pacifier, but just more of something to chew on while those teeth are breaking through! She already has 7 that have broken the skin and I'm sure one more is on the way soon.

Bunnies DO Multiply Quickly!

As I was looking my 'Easter' plastic bin this year, I realized I had a LOT of stuffed bunnies as well as other Easter decorations. I used to do a lot of seasonal decorating, but not as much the past few years. These decorations are perfect for Myra's room, so the bunnies are now on display! (This is only about 1/2 of my current decoration stash!)

And...Mymy had some fun with the bunnies as well!

Stuck

Myra officially started to crawl last Monday! So...she's getting into things and areas where we haven't totally baby-proofed yet. Well, we really hadn't baby-proofed anything at all yet! This is where she crawled and got stuck this past weekend: And...this is what she was after: (I still don't quite understand the baby fascination with remotes and cell phones!)

Rainbow Brite

I absolutely loved Rainbow Brite as a child. What child of the 80's didn't love this super bright girl? So....when I saw these 'rainbow' leg warmers, I had to get them for Mymy. Now, if only I could find that pic of me when I was Rainbow Brite for Halloween!

The Standoff

There have been multiple encounters between Grogan and Myra these past couple of months, but none that I could capture on camera. This is a fairly good one that shows how Grogan will get oh so close to her knowing she can't get too far yet. But...just wait another month or so as she is soooo ready to begin crawling and chase after him. She smiles a lot, but NOTHING makes her more excited or smiley than seeing her cat!

Jumpin' Time

We've had this jumperoo for a bit now, but only get it out every once in a while. Well...this weekend Mymy was LOVING it more than she has in the past. Twirling and jumping - twirling and jumping!

Walk in Bear Suit

We just had to get out of the house and get some fresh air this weekend, so we SQUEEEEEZED Mymy into her winter bear suit and off we went on the trail. It was a bit windy and chilly, but was sunny and felt great to get outdoors! Adorable!!!

I LOVE it when she just waves and waves and stares at her hands - makes for a good laugh every time!

Laundry Lady

I have found another place to contain her :o) One that she seems to enjoy as well as help her through these teething months!

Multi-Holiday Outfit

I thought I was pretty resourceful last weekend when I dressed Mymy in her St. Patty's day dress, Christmas socks and Easter bunny slippers!

A New Toy

Grandma Linda sent Mymy this toy for Christmas and I have managed to keep it under wraps until this weekend. Yes - I have been rationing toys since Christmas - and this is the last of the new ones! Just one more thing that keeps this girl busy and full of smiles - that is when she isn't teething!
