More fun with Grandparents

Myra got to spend lots of time with most of her grandparents over the baptism weekend. She had a wonderful time!!!

I just had to add this one in here as this is the adorable furry hat that coordinated w/ her christening gown. This is a pic of her on her way to the church.

The Beautiful Baptism

The big day was Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010. Myra Marie was baptized in the same church as Jeff and Drew (aka Hobb) were as well as where Jeff and I were married! And...the big day was two days before Jeff's birthday. It was an extremely special event with lots of family that traveled from as far away as Texas and Nebraska. Thanks to all for making it such a wonderful and blessed day!

Thanks to Auntie Pam for all of the great pics!

Here she is getting all dressed and ready - and she is very excited!

This is a good view of her dress and necklace. This was Auntie Pam's christening dress and the necklace was worn by Grammy on her christening day!

Here's Daddy parading her through the church before the ceremony.

The Godparents, Jamie and Drew

Cousins / Uncle Matthew and Aunt Janet that traveled from Houston!

Auntie Pam that also traveled all the way from Houston!
Grammy!

The beautiful altar:

One more thing that made the day even more special was that she was baptized by the Bishop, who only visits the church every 18 months! Here's a shot of most of the gang after the ceremony.

The spread at Grammy's yummy brunch:

And...the present opening while sitting on Grandma's lap. Myra had a great time viewing all of her goodies:

Grrrrrrr

She's not a cat. She's a tigress!!!

First Santa

Myra met santa for the first time last Friday at the same mall, Plaza Frontenac, that Jeff and his brother visited the big red jolly one every year! Just carrying on the tradition!! She didn't cry, but was extremely tired after waiting in line for a bit. This santa was great with her and wasn't creepy at all!

Waiting with daddy...

It's hard to see, but the tree next to Grammy and Mymy is a shaped like a teddy bear, which is Grammy's fav!!!

Waiting with mommy...

Wishing for the Colts to win the rest of their games!

Here is Myra's 3rd Colts outfit - look at those super cute leg warmers! We are all hoping the Colts win the rest of their games in hopes to get into the playoffs!

She must be saying, "Colts are #1!!!"

Meeting Auntie Pam

Last weekend we traveled to St. Louis for Myra's baptism. Aunt Pam and Uncle Art as well as cousin Matthew and Janet made from the trip from Houston to meet the little one. And...what made the occasion even more special was that Myra wore Aunt Pam's christening dress!

Here she is meeting her Auntie Pam for the first time!

2010 Girl's Party

I don't have a lot of pics from the festive occasion, but just wanted to send a shout-out to my girls for a really fun evening. Thank you all for braving the weather and making it a truly fun and rememberable occasion. And...thank you to Meg for traveling from CO. As always, it was wonderful to see you and wish you still lived in IN, but we all know how well you are doing and how much you love CO.

Here's the only shot I got of the whole group including little Myra, who joined in the fun early on - but soon feel fast asleep!

Very Advanced

Myra's first day of 'private school' / daycare came way too soon, but she did very well. I had to laugh when I picked her up and saw on her status sheet that she had 'colored with markers!' My girl is so advanced.

A Visit from Christopher

My friend, Christopher, dropped by on one of my last days on maternity leave to play with little Myra. I already miss our fun afternoons together - but we always have the weekends!
