Oldy, but Goody

My digital camera has died, so my blogging hit a standstill....until I had to scan a childhood pic of mine for a work team exercise we are doing in October. This is my absolute favorite picture of all-time with my brother and I in our Nebraska gear! We are so darn cute. I wish I could still pull off the bright red lipstick!

2 in 1

Since I have two fun things to blog about - and one is kind of old...I have decided to blog about two events in this one post! How exciting - double the fun! :o)
The first event was the Maroon 5 & Counting Crows concert that I attended with Sara B a couple of weeks ago. We had 'the company' tickets, so we were smack dab in the middle and only about 12 rows back. The pics don't do the closeness justice, but below are a few of yummy Adam and crazy-haired Adam as well as Sara and I messing around at Barley Island afterwards. (Some pics could not be included...)

We got a little artistic here!
The next event was a trip Jeff and I took to visit his dad and wife, Mary, at their lake condo in Lake of the Ozarks, MO this weekend. It was a very quick trip as we were only there Friday and Saturday - and left VERY early Sunday morning to get back for the Colts game. It was very relaxing though as they are right on the lake, so we woke up to a beautiful sunrise and saw a great sunset. We visited a winery, took a couple of fun boat rides, saw some large homes, shopped, while the men golfed - and ate a lot.

Jeff, me, and Jim - still at the winery

This is Jim and Mary's condo - pic was taken from the boat.

This is their view of the lake from their condo.

Jim and Mary on their boat!

Jim and Mary took us to dinner Sat. night for our 12th anniversary - Here's Jeff and Jim - the pic of Jeff and I didn't make the cut :o)

My new ride!

Most of you know I did not like my Saab with all of its annoying issues since I got it two years ago...so it was time for a new ride! I now have a 2008 Honda Accord! I absolutely love it, and it meets all of my qualifications that I was looking for in a new car - 1. cheaper 2. better gas mileage 3. lower maintenance costs 4. black - you know how I love black! 5. body shape is sleak and cool - and the inside is pretty great too!

The pics are not my exact car, but the only difference is the interior is black - not tan - but I do have a navigation system, so I will not get lost going to and from work!
